Three tips that will help you sell your home for more in this market.
How do you get the most money possible for your home when you decide to sell? Here are the top three tips to remember:
1. Declutter and clean the home. Everyone will tell you that you need to get the clutter out of your home, but I would take this a step further. You should deep clean your home as well. Clean the furniture, clear out the air vents, wash the windows, and get to all the places people normally don’t think about. A big issue for most sellers is how often they have to reclean their homes. That’s why you need to make everything look as nice as possible so you only have to do it once instead of every day it’s on the market.
2. Stage the home. My business partner and I do an awesome job of staging homes for our seller clients. Staging your home right truly helps it sell quickly and for more money.
3. Work with an experienced and successful agent. You want ...

Here’s what homebuyers and sellers should know about our current market.
I’m back here outside the Breslin Center to give you a quick update on our East Lansing real estate market. If you’re thinking of selling a home, now is a fantastic time. According to the National Association of Realtors, housing prices are going up by 9% in the next year, but appreciation will drop to 3% the year after that.
If you’re considering a home purchase, that appreciation will help you out in the future as interest rates remain low for the time being. However, a slight word of caution: We recently saw a buyer who waived a home inspection, offered $50,000 over asking price, and ended up getting burned because they didn’t do their due diligence before making it. Be wary of making offers like that.
If you have any questions for me about the market or real estate in general, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.; ...

Here’s what the market looks like as things return to normal.
I’m coming to you today from Michigan State University to check in with you and to let you know that life is coming back. Graduations are mostly all concluded, and very recently, face mask requirements were lifted. I’m excited to see things getting back to normal, and I can’t wait for the upcoming semester to begin as things relax.
If you’ve been thinking about selling your home, I’ve never seen a better time in my almost 20 years in this business. You’d be hard-pressed to get a better price for your home than you could right now.
For buyers, things are a bit more difficult, as inventory is historically low. But low interest rates mean that homes are more affordable, even with rising prices, so now would be a good time to work with your agent to find a property you like.
If you’re looking to either buy or sell a home or you have any questions about the real ; ...

My team and I have moved our office to a new location.
In case you haven’t heard, my team and I have moved to a new office at 300 Lake Lansing Rd., East Lansing. Today I took a visit to our old office (which we had to shut down due to COVID) to remind you of this fact and pay tribute to the four suites we occupied at the old location. It was sad that we had to move, but we took the opportunity to save some money and look after the interests of our agents. I hope for nothing but the best for the owners of the building, and I look forward to seeing you at our new offices some day soon.
As always, if you’re looking to buy or sell a home or have any real estate needs at all, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’d love to hear from you.
